We consider applications for all undergraduate courses (including the Cambridge Graduate Course in Medicine) as part of the University’s main undergraduate admissions round. As one of the three colleges in Cambridge dedicated to mature students, we also accept applications in some subjects up until the 1st March.

Please familiarise yourself with the important dates and deadlines on the University website. Some courses require candidates to register for and to sit a pre-interview admissions assessment.

Applying by 16th October

Applications for the main undergraduate admissions round must be completed via UCAS by 16th October. You will then be sent a link to complete an additional questionnaire.

Applying by 1st March

As one of the three mature Colleges we can consider mature and affiliate applications for some subjects after this date, as part of the March application round, the deadline for which is 1st March each year, with interviews held in the last fortnight of that month.

Applications must be completed via UCAS before 1st March.  You will then be sent a link to an additional questionnaire.

The following subjects are excluded from the March round, and applications for these courses must be submitted by the 16th October deadline:

  • Architecture
  • Chemical Engineering (either route)
  • Computer Science
  • Engineering
  • History of Art
  • Medicine (including the graduate-entry course)
  • Music
  • Natural Sciences
  • Philosophy
  • Veterinary Medicine

You may apply to one of the mature Colleges for all other subjects in the March round. If applying in the March round, you must specify a preference college; you cannot apply ‘open’.
