We consider applications for all undergraduate courses (including the Cambridge Graduate Course in Medicine) as part of the University’s main undergraduate admissions round. As one of the three colleges in Cambridge dedicated to mature students, we also accept applications in some subjects up until the 1st March.

Please familiarise yourself with the important dates and deadlines on the University website.

Applying by 15th October

Applications for the main undergraduate admissions round must be completed via UCAS by 15th October. You will then be sent a link to the Cambridge Supplementary Application Questionnaire. If you are applying from a country outside the EU then you will also need to complete the Cambridge Online Preliminary Application.

Applying by 1st March

As one of the the three mature Colleges we can consider mature and affiliate applications for some subjects after this date, as part of a second application round, the deadline for which is 1st March each year, with interviews held in the last fortnight of that month.

Applications must be completed via UCAS before 1st March.  You will then be sent a link to the Cambridge Supplementary Application Questionnaire. If you are applying from a country outside the EU then you will also need to complete the Cambridge Online Preliminary Application.

The following subjects are excluded from the second round, and applications for these courses must be submitted by the 15th October deadline:

  • Architecture
  • History of Art
  • Medicine (including the graduate-entry course)
  • Music
  • Philosophy
  • Veterinary Medicine

You may apply to one of the mature Colleges for all other subjects in the second round. If applying in the later round, you must specify a preference college; you cannot apply ‘open’.
