Applicants are required to register for and sit the appropriate admissions assessments if applying for Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, Computer Sciences, Engineering, Law, Medicine, Natural Sciences and  Veterinary Medicine.

Please note that for entry in 2025 onwards, the UCAT is required for applicants to both graduate entry Medicine (A101) and standard Medicine (A100).

For Economics, candidates applying for the October deadline should register for and take the TMUA. As the option to sit the TMUA is only available for October applicants, applicants in the March round will be set a test by St Edmund’s.

All applicants for AMES with a European language, Archaeology, Architecture, Classics, Design, English, Geography, History and Modern Languages, History, History and Politics, History of Art, HSPS, Linguistics, Mathematics, Maths with Physics, MML, Music, and Philosophy will be set a test if invited to interview.
